Systems integration and API development

Systems integration connects the software a business already runs, such as finance, CRM, ERP, HR and industry systems, so data is entered once and flows automatically. Hexploits builds integrations and APIs with error handling, monitoring and reconciliation, so that when a record does not sync, somebody knows.

A named engineer replies within one working day. A written scope and an indicative price within two.

  • Businesses re-keying data between systems, or reconciling them by spreadsheet.
  • Companies that need a partner, supplier or customer to connect to their systems through an API.
  • Operations teams whose process breaks whenever one system changes.

Deliverables, not slogans. Each one appears in the statement of work.

  • An integration map: systems, data, direction, frequency and ownership.
  • Integrations built on the vendor’s supported APIs, with retries, idempotency and dead-letter handling.
  • Public or partner APIs with authentication, rate limiting, documentation and versioning.
  • Monitoring and reconciliation reports that show every failed or mismatched record.
  • Runbooks for the people who will support it.

Our engineers work across the major languages, frameworks and cloud platforms. We build on the stack you already run, with technology choices explained in writing before work begins.

The same four stages as every Hexploits engagement, applied to this capability.

  1. Stage 1

    Map

We document every flow and agree which system is the source of truth for each field.

  2. Stage 2

    Build

Integrations are built against sandbox environments and tested with real edge cases: duplicates, deletions, partial failures.

  3. Stage 3

    Reconcile

A reconciliation run compares both sides before and after go-live.

  4. Stage 4

    Operate

Failures alert an engineer, not a mailbox, under managed support.

Every engagement agrees its measures and the measurement period in writing before work starts.

  • Manual re-keying hours removed.
  • Records out of sync, reported daily and trending to zero.
  • Time from an event in one system to its reflection in another.

Fantastic company and our development partner for Gradvisor, a social mobility careers platform with national ambitions. Extremely responsive and mission-oriented. Cameron owns any shortfalls humbly - rare for IT providers. Thinks like a client too.

Can you integrate with our accounting or ERP system?
Almost certainly. We work with the vendor’s supported API and stay within its terms, and we have integrated finance, CRM, ATS and payment systems for clients across sectors.
What happens when a sync fails?
The record goes to a queue, the failure is logged with the reason, an engineer is alerted, and the record is retried or corrected. Nothing is silently dropped.
Do you use middleware platforms?
Where they fit, yes. For a handful of flows a hosted integration platform can be the cheapest option; for core processes we usually build so you own it.
